Our environmental initiatives focus on conserving primary resources. As part of our long-term path to Net Zero, we place particular emphasis on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through continuous reductions in energy consumption and an increased share of renewable energy.

In addition to energy, water is another indispensable component of our production. That is why we rely on efficient technologies, economicaleconomic use, and the highest possible recirculation.the greatest possible recycling of water in closed cycles.

In waste management, we pursue the goal of continuously increasing the proportion of recyclable materials and, wherever possible, switching to bio-based alternatives. We consistently use recyclable waste streams, such as biomass, for energy production, thus making an additional contribution to resource conservation.
